Most of the redundant old churches have been converted to alternatives uses, especially for public activities or commercial purposes, although some have been abandoned or even demolished. This illustrated book looks at the new uses, to assess if the church conversions were successful, or if they were a big mistake, whilst providing a little background history of the original building.
