With the resounding success of the symposium, which was attended by an unexpectedly large number of people, the idea then arose to publish the proceedings and to invite some extra articles. While not all invited academics were able to contribute—especially on the Reformation’s legacy in the development of music, philosophy and the natural sciences—we are delighted to include five extra articles and two ample epilogues from our pastors.
