American master photographer Ron Rosenstock has been coming to County Mayo for over half a century where the Westport region opened up its secret heart to him. Irish poet Gabriel Rosenstock has been responding to Ron's work with bilingual haiku for much of that fruitful period.

Mike Roycroft was born in Wolfe Tone Street in Limerick (over Manifold's shop). After a number of years working in the Regional Hospital in Limerick, he went abroad teaching, in West North Africa (but latterly working as an entertainer in Marrakesh hotels). He has travelled fairly widely, from Svalbard to Kyrgyzstan, occasionally climbing unchallenging mountains.
