Although they don't know their way around, they are persuaded to go for a walk with the family dogs. Along the way one dog is lost and it takes ages to find him, and then they themselves lose their sense of direction. The dogs take charge and they all wearily walk back through streets and busy roads in wild wet weather. They come in to a warm welcome of a good stew as the rises. 'All is now safe and sound' says the wind from the hills.
