Carly Taylor's life is in a spiral. Max Sheffington was prepared to throw down over his missing dog - turns out his sweet, cheerful Mable is now a depressed male basset hound - but now that he's met the fiery Carly... more enticing activities come to mind. And after she agrees to dogsit so that he can take his autistic brother to New York for the Westminster dog show, Max is even more intrigued. As their two dogs bond, Carly and Max begin to spend more and more time together and soon they wonder if their own story might be a tale of love.
