Cornucopia - Carraig Dubh Writers' Group Anthology 2019

Quick overview Carraig Dubh Writers Group (‘CDWG’) came about as a result of Creative Writing workshops run by the Blackrock DLR library service in 2017. The tutor and mentor for this programme was Leo Cullen, well known for his collection ‘Clocking Ninety on the Road to Cloughjordan’ (Blackstaff Press), his novel ‘Let’s Twist Again’ (Blackstaff Press), he is a regular contributor to ‘Sunday Miscellany’, RTE Radio, and short stories on BBC Radio 4. We are delighted to include some new work by Leo in this Anthology and particularly thank him for editing contributions and his generous encouragement of emerging writers. The contributors to this book have varying experience from early-stage to emerging status but all are enthusiastic and eager to express themselves on the written page. We hope you will enjoy this eclectic and varied collection as it issues from the horn of plenty and creativity- truly a Cornucopia experience.
